It has recently come to my attention that people are having trouble keeping some of their characters active.

...okay, it's been a problem for a while, but it's gotten pretty bad as of late.

So. FIRST.

I would love to remind people of a key rule: if the character you are waiting for does not post within FIVE DAYS of the previous post, it is perfectly acceptable to skip their turn. Hiatus is an exception - should a mun be on hiatus, they will normally leave instructions on how to treat their characters during their absence.

Of course, it's always good policy to check with the muns of the characters in the thread before dropping in - some threads may be mislabeled. *pointed glare meant to encourage correct labeling*

And FINALLY,

Don't be afraid to have your characters do some traveling between threads. If your first thread was in Niflheim and you want to join one at Central Station, great! Just make sure you account for behind-the-scenes traveling time (i.e. Bob had been wandering the city for what seemed like hours when he ran into...").

Honestly, guys, it's up to you to take the initaitive to keep your characters active. :3
