In the coming weeks of roleplay, friends will been found, families reunited, all will seem right in the world for our characters lost in hallucinations.

However, suddenly, something seems wrong with the one they have found. They aren't responding to you and seem angry. Are their eyes glowing? Suddenly the person centered around your hallucination attacks, their focus the owner of the hallucination.

Dream turned to nightmare, you try to fend them off as the hallucination shatters and you no longer find yourself fighting your friend or loved one away, but a dark creature with yellow glowing eyes.

Those outside the hallucination, who might have been trying to awaken you from it, suddenly notice something seems strange about your shadow, as a dark form seems to rise from it, forming into a dark creature, with yellow glowing eyes, and suddenly attacks the owner of the hallucination.

Yes, some might recognize them, some might not. They have never been seen here, but their name has been whispered across the message board.

The Heartless are here.

Not just those hallucinating will find Heartless, later this month (in ooc time that is) expect that attacks may well happen all about the city.

As for the city, the deterioration seems to have stopped. In fact, block by block, buildings seem to have the clock turned back, and not only that, they've been decorated! Beautiful garlands of tropical flowers (yes, real ones!) grace many of the repaired buildings. However, the size of the city doesn't seem to be increasing again, and here and there you feel sure there was another building there.

And, finally, City Hall which was also deteriorating appears to be better, what little you can see of it. The grounds have gained a new feature: A great wall of thorns.

Perhaps checking the message board, would be in order?

We realize some (if not most of us) are likely not ready for this phase, but a Halloween reveal was FAR too good to resist. X3 The idea of this post is simply to announce what's to come when you are ready to use it. You can continue to log the last plot announcement, and work to this end.

As for the message board, as we've always stressed, journal time =/= log time. Work in events from the journals whenever you feel it would work and correspond to your logs. Since if we timed journals to logs all the time, journal posts would never happen.

We'll give you all at the very least several weeks to work all this out and log before we kick off any new plot. Of course, however, experimentation continues~
