THE FOLLOWING WILL TAKE PLACE STARTING TODAY

PART 01; From now on, there will be a maximum number of 10 character per player. This was decided upon by high number of characters that individual players have applied and have been accepted for-- and how this had been affecting the pace of numerous threads, usually one for each character. That is, if the character is not being somewhat neglected by their mun in the first place. As any roleplayer should know, the pace that a mun (yourself perhaps, or another) affects how quickly the thread will be completed. And a quick pace usually maintains the interest in the thread from all those threading in it. Keeping a 'good' pace is difficult if one has many characters.

Furthermore, more characters per player causes an imbalance in an RPG such as Paixao-- it's a monopoly. And being the paranoid individual I am, I personally do not think that this is a good way to ensure that this RPG is kept alive. Also, I'm hoping that when we re-advertise, this will increase the number of potential number players. So- moving on to the next part.

PART 02; The only new restriction isn't going to be just applied to the number of character per player... it has been extended to the number of characters one can have in each fandom. Each player is allowed three character per canon. This is an RPG, the point is to role-play with other people, not yourself. If you want, please feel free to role-play with yourself, as much as you want, by yourself. It is understandable that you have a strong muse for each character you are applying for. However, like I said, this is no reason to monopolize certain aspects of an RPG.

Anyone who is currently "violating" the new restrictions taking place today will not be effected-- they will be allowed to keep their characters. We (referring to the moderators, I guess) will no longer take any more exceptions. Those who are currently exceptions to the rule that decide to drop characters will NOT be allowed to maintain a number of characters higher than ten.
If anyone has any objections, suggestions, questions, or a combination of the three, related to this post and/or an individual case, please leave a comment, to this post or poke me on AIM and I'll try to reply to it as soon as possible.

[EDIT] Sorry about this but... even current character reservations probably won't be considered if someone is applying for a character that would be an exception to the new rules.[/edit]

Also, a reminder about tags:
Make sure that there aren't multiple tags you're creating for your character-- gotta be organized ;) Really, I'm not a Nazi about tags. Also make sure that the tag for your character is in the form it would be in their culture (i.e. characters from Japan or associated with Japan would have have their tag so it's [family name] [first name]).

He'll be invading a post near NippleheimNiflheim soon. Or starting one. I need to take a look at what's going on over there.

Ang here again, with yet another, and probably last (for the moment) character!

This time around it is one Mikami Teru from the manga Death Note. He is a generic crazy Japanese businessman (lawyer, specifically), a bit off his rocker and is kind of obsessed with justice (maybe even more so than Raito) as well as Kira (maybe even more so than Misa), which makes him out to be, generally, an all around creepy-ass guy.

He means well though, he really does. ): For the record, I said 'justice' about seven times in his application. At least he doesn't go running around yelling "OBJECTION!!!!!!"?
