The Week in Review
The Election has resolved, for better or worse!
New Characters
Larxene, Loki, Jessica Rabbit, Trudy Chacon, Celes Chere, Lightning, Minnie Mouse, Sid, Orihime, Hercules, Starr, chaos, and Mrs. Potts have all joined us this month! Along with the return of Ziva and Auron!
Plot and Announcements
We'll be honest and up front here: This month didn't go quite as we'd been trying to plan. (An understatement even.) A lot of real life things and uh, 'surprises' made us critical fumble the ball and we hadn't been able to plan things out as detailed as we would have liked, particularly with the elections.
We've realized perhaps this was not how it was thought the election was going to go down. (We had not intended it to end up this drawn out at all, actually. ^^; ) In an attempt to wrap it up, logistics got away from us. The initial idea was amusing, but we realized when we got to the point of having the actual vote, we really weren't sure how to pull it off, given that there would be a city full of Paixao citizens voting. (Of course, NOW, in hindsight, we just had an idea, but bit late for that now. >.<;) We had a few ideas for the result in mind, but in the end the result we are settling on does actually have plans surrounding it. There IS a method to our madness, I swear. lol
It did end up being depressingly anti-climatic, however, so if anyone has ANY suggestions how to do something like this in the future, we are all ears.
tl;dr -- May sucked. Sorry guys.
Here's the current plan:
Obviously Halloween Town didn't quite work out as we'd planned either, so at this stage I think everyone would like to move on, therefore: if you would like to have had your character gain a card from a trip there, post here, and we'll tell you what card(s) they got. We'd like to see if we can get this wrapped up in the next few weeks, so if you think your character could figure out the deal with the cards IS, feel free! The first two posts on that tag explain the whole Halloween Town thing, for those who need a refresher.
Annnd, I think that's everything. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns! And, of course, if you have any ideas of something you'd like to do, get in touch with us too!
Oh! And I'll get the sidebars fixed up prolly tomorrow. Sorry they've been messed up so long. >.<; I've got lappy halfway returned to normal, I just have to figure out where I backed up my sidebar files. ^^;
