DAYS!

Alright, guys. I have a question regarding Paixao's timeline.

Days... seem to be providing a bit of a pain now. A lot of people start beginning at the beginning of the week, and thus missing an opportunity to play with characters who have already moved on. This really hurts the slower players, and the extremely fast ones, and kind of ruins their chances of interaction. I want to be able to allow people to get more chances to play with others, without worrying what day someone is on.

I was wondering if you guys would be okay with the week system being removed entirely. Well... not entirely-- the "week" will be cut off when the Weather and Events thread reaches a page or something like that. We will still have week1, week2, week3, etc... but no days.

So. Poll!

[Poll #788850]

I don't think we should get rid of it entirely. It helps create a consistent in-game time frame, even though threads can go on for weeks. It also helps keep environment descriptions coordinated. (For example, one person describes a dark and stormy night while another describes a balmy day, then their characters meet two in-game hours later.) Perhaps it can be modified, but don't ask me how because I don't know. >.>

It's not gone all the way; like I said, we'll just change the week based on how many threads have been completed.

The weather for each day was pretty descriptive, but people ignore it anwyay, and the way the days constrain time it doesn't seem worth it when it wasn't even noticed before.

This is really the only way I can figure out to make things run more faster, smoothly, and more easily. ^^;

We need a frame to base everything around, but frankly, seeing as it's taken us... since mid-May until now for the Leon/Zack/Aerith/Cloud scene, and it's not even DONE... that's just nuts. We're so far behind it's NUTS.

We keep both the weeks and the days, but limit the timeframe to two or three days according to the days most players are in. For example, you have five people on Sunday, three on Monday, and a couple more in Tuesday, so we limit the week to those three days. However, other players who can or want to post ahead may do so.

It's kind of like how you had it before, right? Opening three days at a time or something like that... well, it's a combination of the day and week system. It might be a bit tedious, but I think would be easier for interaction.
