Paixao's Plot: Beginning
Okay guys, you've waited long enough for this... The moment has finally arrived. Paixao's plot has officially begun!
What's going to happen now? It's simple. Until another announcement is made... Paixao will be under attack. By who? None other than Organization XIII and the Nobodies, of course. There will now be lots, lots, and lots of Nobodies all throughout Paixao with each of the 4 gates and the center of the city having the highest concentration of them. They'll be attacking the townspeople, but will be especially drawn to the characters that've been brought here. >:]
Speaking of the gates, the lines newcomers would usually see are now gone.
While they're capable of planning and attacking in groups, the Nobodies are far from invincible. If your character is proficient in any form of spell-casting, then he/she should be capable of defeating them. Elemental affinities can also be taken into consideration. Martial arts and hand-to-hand combat can work too, but it'll be less effective. If they don't know how to fight however... then you're better off hidingthan trying to attack them with a foam bat or a wooden sword.
I've also gone ahead and uploaded a couple of Nobody icons to the
paixaonpcs account, just in case any of the members want to control a group of them to fight against the others, which I would really like to see happen.
The Organization will also be present in this event, but it'll be up to the respective muns to decide just how involved they'll want to be in the attacks themselves. For those who haven't played KH2, here's a list of what the current members of the Organization can do as far as what type of Nobody they control and their element of specialty.
Xemnas -> Sorcerer Nobodies -> Element of Nothingness
Xigbar -> Sniper Nobodies -> Element of Space
Xaldin -> Dragoon Nobodies -> Element of Air
Zexion -> ??? -> ???
Saix -> Berserker Nobodies -> Element of Moon
Axel -> Assassin Nobodies -> Element of Fire
Demyx -> Dancer Nobodies -> Element of Water
Marluxia -> ??? -> Element of Flower
Larxene -> I'll be having her use Dusks and Creepers -> Element of Thunder
Roxas -> Samurai Nobodies (Yes Roxas-mun, your character can still control his Nobodies. Have fun with those!) -> Element of Light
With the exception of Roxas, encountering a member of the Organization now won't be pretty, since they'll be on orders to attack and "test" just how strong your character(s) is/are.
Think very carefully about what you'll have your character(s) do during these attacks. Strong ones can try going on the offensive, or help out those that can't defend themselves. Weak characters might want to find some shelter, or stick close to someone who can kickass. Smart and intelligent characters can come up with plans and strategies on how to stop the attacks...
You know things like that, but obviously not limited to what I mentioned.
That'd be all. You can have your characters make journal post regarding what they're seeing going on anytime now.
As usual, are there any questions?INTELLIGENT ONES, LINA. >:[

As those who played KH2 can easily recall, when Roxas first encounters the Dusks, their evasive capabilities are such that a foam bat, as you said, is rendered useless. From what we see later in the game, though, weapons such as the First Tsurugi and a gunblade have no trouble at all with killing them. Obviously there must be definite types of weapons that will or will not work, as well as people who are skilled with wielding them or horribly inept, and even just considering the different types of Nobodies involved, it should change with each and every one. Overall, there are three variables to consider from case to case. Four, actually, if you bring into consideration the actual presence of an Organization member. With their guidance, a group of lesser Nobodies could do more damage than without. There is also the intelligence and tactical ability of the Organization member him or herself to bring into account, then.
So, where are the lines drawn?
An actual question: Kadaj is likely going to summon Shadow Creepers to deal with the Nobodies, just because he's an egotistical bastard and sees dealing with them as a waste of his time (and because watching is more fun). About where would they fit as far as effectiveness in defeating them is concerned? Probably better than hand to hand, definitely better than the foam bad, but not as good as fighting them off with Souba or something, right? Just making sure.

Anyways, I did consider that actually. I would say... the more a character is skilled as a fighter/mage, then the better they're chances are of defeating the Nobodies. Their weapons can also be taken into consideration as well. Like you said, even if a weak character tries to use a normal weapon (like a sword, for example), they'd probably be too unskilled in handling it to actually cause any real damage. That, and I'd agree that an Organization member present would make things harder
and give the Nobodies a 30% stat increase.Wow, that so poorly explained, wasn't it?
I would consider them as... summons? XD Yeah, Souba would probably give better results, but the Shadow Creepers should be able to take them down too.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this~ YAY, STUFF. I'll probably avoid using Shadow Creepers for a bit for a variety of reasons that I won't bore you with, but yes. Duly noted~

Sorry, but i just really had to tell you that.

Also, I think this should make the lumens go insane. 8D The presence of things with a lack of heart is just what they hate, so I can see them suddenly having a dramatic increase of viciousness, even to characters who intend to fight the Nobodies, just because they aren't of pure heart and lumens aren't intelligent enough to discriminate. What do you say?

However, I think at this point when so much is happening, that we'd become a bit more lenient in that aspect, like Squenix is- you know what I mean? With the 'saying this happened' and agreeing on situations that don't necessarily have to be played out, because there is simply too many other things going on, and having them written about in journals is enough.
For example... uhm, I dunno, like you said, having characters posting about seeing all of these Nobodies but not having to RP that out because it would take forever (like when uhhhhhh.... heartless!Leon and Cloud attacked Squenix and such). Paixao has rarely done anything like that before but now it would probably have to be more common place... I just want to say that because some people might be afraid to do that who aren't used to it (as a lot of us seem obsesssive about writing out all the details in
o_o I think I might just be... being paranoid that people won't get it is all. XD Okay, I'm done being redundant. I hope I'm making sense.

That, or we could finally get rid of weeks...
no subject
I just think the weeks have the potential to drag on for a really long amount of time (week2 feels like it's gone on forever for me.) I think I'd much prefer a 1RL day = 1RP day, mostly because there doesn't seem to be a large amount of events taking place that absolutely NEED to take place on a specific day (and it's not like posts can't be backdated, or a note can't be inserted saying "these events took place ____ days ago," or whatever.)
There's also so much ground to cover in Paixao that a 1RL day = 1RP day would make the the issue of pups traveling long distances a little easier. Obviously, if a pup needs to get from one end of Paixao to the other by foot, it's going to take more than a week to do it, and a week system that drags out for a few RL weeks or up to a month+ can really hinder that pup (and his/her player, RP-wise) getting very far unless we ignore the whole time issue.

Ooh, that's a good idea. It'd be fun to see some angry lumens thrown in the midst of things as well!

HA. I'd find it amusing if all the Togainu no Chi characters banded together. N is the only one with anything abnormal about him--although Akira is his opposite, he's NOT SPECIAL, other than being the AREA:RAY bicycle--and while being greatly adapted to using their weapons of choice, I think after a bit of time fighting Nobodies they'd realize if they got themselves in trouble .... they'd pretty much be screwed over.
Put your differences aside, boys! TIME FOR THE NOBODIES!

I think they should have PEACEFUL TIME at Cheap Prayer for like, twenty minutes and then get attacked. XD

How effective (do you think) bullets would be?

A plain, everyday, totally average gunshot could hurt them a bit, but they'll probably just shrug it off and keep going.
The less average it is, the more damaging it'll be, I think.
