Paixao's Plot: Beginning

Okay guys, you've waited long enough for this... The moment has finally arrived. Paixao's plot has officially begun!

What's going to happen now? It's simple. Until another announcement is made... Paixao will be under attack. By who? None other than Organization XIII and the Nobodies, of course. There will now be lots, lots, and lots of Nobodies all throughout Paixao with each of the 4 gates and the center of the city having the highest concentration of them. They'll be attacking the townspeople, but will be especially drawn to the characters that've been brought here. >:]

Speaking of the gates, the lines newcomers would usually see are now gone.

While they're capable of planning and attacking in groups, the Nobodies are far from invincible. If your character is proficient in any form of spell-casting, then he/she should be capable of defeating them. Elemental affinities can also be taken into consideration. Martial arts and hand-to-hand combat can work too, but it'll be less effective. If they don't know how to fight however... then you're better off hiding than trying to attack them with a foam bat or a wooden sword.

I've also gone ahead and uploaded a couple of Nobody icons to the [livejournal.com profile] paixaonpcs account, just in case any of the members want to control a group of them to fight against the others, which I would really like to see happen.

The Organization will also be present in this event, but it'll be up to the respective muns to decide just how involved they'll want to be in the attacks themselves. For those who haven't played KH2, here's a list of what the current members of the Organization can do as far as what type of Nobody they control and their element of specialty.

Xemnas -> Sorcerer Nobodies -> Element of Nothingness
Xigbar -> Sniper Nobodies -> Element of Space
Xaldin -> Dragoon Nobodies -> Element of Air
Zexion -> ??? -> ???
Saix -> Berserker Nobodies -> Element of Moon
Axel -> Assassin Nobodies -> Element of Fire
Demyx -> Dancer Nobodies -> Element of Water
Marluxia -> ??? -> Element of Flower
Larxene -> I'll be having her use Dusks and Creepers -> Element of Thunder
Roxas -> Samurai Nobodies (Yes Roxas-mun, your character can still control his Nobodies. Have fun with those!) -> Element of Light

With the exception of Roxas, encountering a member of the Organization now won't be pretty, since they'll be on orders to attack and "test" just how strong your character(s) is/are.

Think very carefully about what you'll have your character(s) do during these attacks. Strong ones can try going on the offensive, or help out those that can't defend themselves. Weak characters might want to find some shelter, or stick close to someone who can kickass. Smart and intelligent characters can come up with plans and strategies on how to stop the attacks...

You know things like that, but obviously not limited to what I mentioned.

That'd be all. You can have your characters make journal post regarding what they're seeing going on anytime now.

As usual, are there any questions? INTELLIGENT ONES, LINA. >:[

All right then, something intelligent:

As those who played KH2 can easily recall, when Roxas first encounters the Dusks, their evasive capabilities are such that a foam bat, as you said, is rendered useless. From what we see later in the game, though, weapons such as the First Tsurugi and a gunblade have no trouble at all with killing them. Obviously there must be definite types of weapons that will or will not work, as well as people who are skilled with wielding them or horribly inept, and even just considering the different types of Nobodies involved, it should change with each and every one. Overall, there are three variables to consider from case to case. Four, actually, if you bring into consideration the actual presence of an Organization member. With their guidance, a group of lesser Nobodies could do more damage than without. There is also the intelligence and tactical ability of the Organization member him or herself to bring into account, then.

So, where are the lines drawn?

An actual question: Kadaj is likely going to summon Shadow Creepers to deal with the Nobodies, just because he's an egotistical bastard and sees dealing with them as a waste of his time (and because watching is more fun). About where would they fit as far as effectiveness in defeating them is concerned? Probably better than hand to hand, definitely better than the foam bad, but not as good as fighting them off with Souba or something, right? Just making sure.

I don't think it was poorly explained at all, actually. DAMNIT, I WANTED TO CONFUSE YOU. Bitch.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this~ YAY, STUFF. I'll probably avoid using Shadow Creepers for a bit for a variety of reasons that I won't bore you with, but yes. Duly noted~
