6. Regardless of your character’s origin and native tongue, the common language used for RP scenes and journal entries will be English. However if your character is ICly fluent in more than one language, and you wish have him/her speak in said language as a way to protect valuable information, then you can do so. You’re also going to have to provide an English translation and put it as an OOC comment at the end the post/comment so that others know what you just said.
If your character was born and raised in a country that didn’t have English as its native language, then they may still use traces of it in their speech, such as honorifics, but only in small amounts. This won’t apply if they simply have voiceovers done in a different language though, as is the case in video games and anime.
